Further afield is Malham Tarn (5 miles), a glacial lake surrounded by peaceful moorland. After a day of walking, reward yourself with a hearty meal at one of the country inns in the village, within 350 metres. Quaint villages and market towns like Settle (7 miles), Skipton and Grassington (both 12 miles), and Kettlewell (14.5 miles) are all within easy reach. Malham, within the Yorkshire Dales, Dark Sky Park offers incredible stargazing due to minimal light pollution, with prime spots at Malham Car Park (a Dark Sky Discovery Site) and Malham Cove for darker skies, plus guided walks and events often available, providing amazing views of constellations and the Milky Way

The spacious open-plan lounge/dining area is made for relaxing and gathering, complete with a wood burner, Smart TV and large windows that frame garden views. The generous dining table invites long, sociable meals, and just off the lounge is a well-equipped kitchen plus a handy utility room. A couple of steps lead up to a peaceful double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and its own door to the garden. Upstairs is a king, a twin and a super-king bedroom (which can be configured as a twin if needed). A stylish family bathroom with both a bath and a shower serves this floor.
Outside, a large enclosed garden offers several inviting seating areas, a big lawn for play or picnics, and a sunny patio complete with a gas BBQ – fabulous for making the most of those long summer evenings.
