Conveniently located in the Mt. Pleasant Historic District, this vibrant neighborhood overlooks Rock Creek Park. The shops, restaurants, and Saturday Farmers Market in Mt. Pleasant are all a short walk away while Adams Morgan, Woodley Park, Cleveland Park, and Columbia Heights are all less than a 15 min walk! Running, hiking, and biking trails in Rock Creek Park are all accessed just outside the unit. Entrance to Beach Drive also allows easy car access the National Mall and Virginia.
Located up off the street, this basement unit contains an outdoor seating area in the front garden that overlooks Rock Creek Park. There is an additional larger outdoor seating area just outside the unit that is protected from the rain. From the garden, enter the unit through the open living area and fully equipped kitchen. Off of the living space is a full pantry, linen closet, and full washer/dryer. Two bedrooms are located at the end of the hall. Each has a full bed, dedicated working space, and spacious closet. The newly renovated bathroom with full walk-in shower is conveniently located just outside the bedrooms. Guests have exclusive access to outdoor seating areas, and apartment. Free street parking is available right out front of the unit. No smoking is permitted in or outdoors on property.
Please note that guests must climb stairs to access the unit, as the apartment is located above the street level. In addition, owner and family reside upstairs in a completely separate unit. However, there may be some upstairs noise mainly in the morning and afternoon.
Red Line Metro access at either Woodley Park or Cleveland Park stations and Green/Yellow Line Metro access at Columbia Heights station are all less than a 15 minute walk. The H2 bus line runs directly in front of the apartment and the H4 bus stop is about a quarter mile away. These lines connect to the metro stations above in addition to servicing Brookland/Catholic Univ. Childrens National Hospital Van Ness and Tenleytown/American University.
